Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Golang services and RESTful APIs.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Deploy and operate containerized services in Kubernetes.
- Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Monitor and triage production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and join post-incident reviews.
- Estimate work, communicate progress and risks, build expertise in a platform component, and improve software and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Experience developing and debugging software in Golang or another backend language, with interest in working primarily in Go.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, automated testing, and secure coding.
- Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
- Comfort working with Unix/Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Approximately two years of related experience, or equivalent education and practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include customer-facing SaaS or multi-tenant cloud experience, distributed systems and reliability exposure, Python or Bash scripting, and familiarity with cloud networking, storage, identity, monitoring, or incident response.
