Responsibilities

Build and enhance full-stack features across user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data access.
Partner with business analysts, product partners, and engineers to translate requirements into user stories and incremental solutions.
Develop and support integrations with investment and enterprise systems using services, batch processing, and messaging or event patterns.
Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews while applying standards for security, performance, resiliency, logging, and operational supportability.
Use SQL to analyze data, validate results, troubleshoot workflows, and support data quality and reconciliation.
Contribute to compliance monitoring, controls, exceptions, approvals, attestations, AML/KYC, and regulatory reporting solutions.
Support releases and production stability by monitoring applications, investigating issues, documenting root causes, and improving automated checks and runbooks.
Explore responsible AI-enabled automation and agentic workflows with attention to security, traceability, and human oversight.
Collaborate across Mumbai, New York, and other global locations, including reasonable overlap with U.S. colleagues when needed.

1–3 years of professional experience building, testing, and supporting software applications.
Strong foundations in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, clean-code practices, debugging, and problem solving.
Hands-on experience with at least one backend language such as Java, C#, or Python and web development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and a modern component-based frontend framework such as React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent technology.
Working proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, including joins, data validation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Git-based version control, code reviews, and unit or integration testing.
Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to global teamwork.
Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferred experience includes REST services, microservices, batch processing, integration patterns, messaging, event-driven architectures, cloud or modern data platforms, data pipelines, analytics environments, Databricks, Pega, regulated industries, or secure AI/LLM-enabled automation.
A portfolio, academic project, internship, open-source contribution, or other example of end-to-end application development is advantageous.

Practical learning through pairing, design discussions, code reviews, and collaboration with experienced engineers.
Meaningful ownership of production features and increasing responsibility for applications or components.
Broad technical exposure across full-stack engineering, integrations, data, workflow platforms, production operations, and AI-enabled automation.
Global working environment with exposure to business and technology partners across the organization.

The position is based in Mumbai and may require reasonable overlap with U.S. colleagues for meetings, releases, or production support.
