Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack web applications and microservices end to end.
- Lead and contribute to architecture, technical design, code review, and design specification activities.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis of production issues and implement preventive improvements.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and own sprint commitments within a globally distributed team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and improve architecture, engineering practices, and tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software development.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack ownership.
- Advanced knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and microservice development.
- Hands-on experience with React JS, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL, and query tuning.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, and IAM.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit and with object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum delivery; Docker experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, ownership, and independent collaboration skills.
