Responsibilities
- Assess business initiatives and change requests, providing solution options, assumptions, risks, and rough-order-of-magnitude estimates.
- Define and document end-to-end solution architectures, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Establish architecture guardrails, design standards, enterprise architecture alignment, and implementation approaches.
- Guide teams through development, testing, deployment, production support, and complex issue resolution.
- Facilitate solution reviews and identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience designing enterprise-scale business and technology solutions.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, AWS cloud-native and serverless architecture patterns, and event-driven architecture.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, integration patterns, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern architecture principles.
- Experience defining non-functional requirements related to security, scalability, performance, availability, and maintainability.
- Experience producing architectural artifacts using C4 Model, UML, or similar modeling approaches.
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts and influence alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in large-scale enterprise environments, enterprise architecture governance, digital transformation, modernization, platform initiatives, customer-centric product development, service design, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and modern software engineering practices.
