Responsibilities
- Design, expand, and maintain new capabilities for the Eggplant Fusion Engine.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-discipline team members to deliver team goals on schedule and with high quality.
- Work with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ensure new features meet customer needs and function as expected.
- Ensure products and components integrate effectively to provide an exceptional user experience.
- Help determine appropriate technologies and development strategies.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of product enhancements and innovative solutions.
- Improve testability, quality, and user experience through input to the design and development process.
- Identify and report software bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in a software development role.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and coding best practices.
- Strong design and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Objective-C, C, C++, and C#.
- Solid knowledge of AI, Agile, Lean, and XP development practices.
- Preferred experience with near-real-time image and video processing, computer vision, text detection, and OCR.
- Preferred experience with Large Vision Models, Large Language Models, and agentic development.
- Preferred experience with low-level protocols such as VNC/RFB, VS Code, DAP, Conan, containers, GitHub Actions, GitLab build pipelines, continuous delivery, Eggplant Test, or other test automation software.
- Preferred experience with security scans, threat modeling, software composition analysis, and SBOMs.
- Preferred experience building commercial off-the-shelf enterprise software.
