Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions.
Translate requirements and architectures into technical designs and working software.
Develop robust backend components with Java and Spring Boot and frontend components with Angular, React, or Vue.
Create REST APIs according to OpenAPI specifications and integrate reliably with other systems.
Perform architecture work, code reviews, implementation, deployment, and technical decision-making.
Build automated tests and safeguard code quality through test automation.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and tooling including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, architects, and designers in Agile Scrum teams.
Present solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback, and explain technical choices.
Use AI pair-programming tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Postgres, and message brokers.
Knowledge of modern software architectures including microservices, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and monitoring.
Fluent communication in French or Dutch and English.
Kafka experience is a plus.
Experience with complex projects, Domain-Driven Design, Clean Code, TDD, BPMN, CMMN, OAuth2, or GitHub Copilot is an asset.
Apache Camel experience is a bonus.
