Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ingenico terminal applications using Kotlin and the Ingenico SDK.
- Implement contact, contactless, NFC, and wallet EMV transaction flows.
- Integrate terminal software with host systems and gateway APIs and troubleshoot device, EMV kernel, and transaction issues.
- Contribute to secure .NET and ASP.NET Core payment APIs and workflows for authorization, capture, refund, void, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Build and maintain device management services, webhook listeners, and event-driven payment updates.
- Support payment processor and gateway integrations, production troubleshooting, and reliability improvements.
- Execute EMV Level 3 certification test cases, validate host messages and transaction responses, and support regression testing and re-certification.
- Implement network tokenization and token lifecycle management for Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Integrate Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Android-based mobile payment solutions using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with internal teams, senior engineers, and external processors during certification and integration activities.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with payment systems, financial systems, or API integrations.
- Experience building RESTful APIs using .NET and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
- Understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle from authorization through settlement.
- Strong debugging and production problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: exposure to EMV Level 3 certification, payment processor or gateway integrations, Ingenico devices and SDKs, PCI-DSS compliance concepts, AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and fintech or payment industry experience.
