Base Salary
$95k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack accounting platform features using Angular, C#/.NET, and SQL Server.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and engineers throughout sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues across distributed systems and message-queue-based integrations.
- Work with HTTP APIs, RabbitMQ, and related integration patterns while documenting findings and improving development practices and tooling.
- Write unit and integration tests and ensure software is performant, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level software engineering experience with strong software development fundamentals.
- Proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular 2+, TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodology, sprint-based delivery, system integration patterns, HTTP, and distributed or messaging technologies.
- Experience authoring unit and integration tests using VS Test, NUnit, or equivalent frameworks.
- Exposure to accounting, payments, deposits, or other financial workflow applications.
- Ability to design and implement responsive single-page applications and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development tools, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Application Insights, Seq, Datadog, domain-driven design, or event-driven architecture.
