Base Salary
$86k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments across enterprise production and non-production platforms.
- Respond to server patching, vulnerability remediation, security compliance, incidents, and production outages.
- Troubleshoot operating system, performance, configuration, and service-related issues to maintain platform stability.
- Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and identify operational risks.
- Support VMware-hosted Windows servers and related virtual infrastructure technologies.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions, including PowerShell scripting, to improve operational efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis, participate in blameless post-mortems, and drive continuous improvement in incident management.
- Create monitoring dashboards and implement SLAs and SLOs for applications, services, and platforms.
- Support site design consulting, platform management, capacity planning, change management, disaster recovery testing, and resiliency initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior team members on infrastructure management and disaster recovery best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Comparable combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration, infrastructure management, incident response, monitoring, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
- PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
- Certifications are often desired, but no specific certification is required.
