Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Build production generative AI solutions using RAG, AI-powered search, prompt orchestration, tool calling, and agent-based workflows.
- Develop agentic solutions and Model Context Protocol integrations connecting AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, and knowledge repositories.
- Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Contribute to architecture design, code reviews, continuous integration and delivery, production support, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.
Requirements
- Require 8 to 12 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Require experience integrating LLMs and generative AI platforms, preferably Azure OpenAI or OpenAI, including prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
- Require experience building AI agents, tool-calling workflows, multi-step orchestration, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
- Require experience with RAG, agentic AI, MCP, LLMs, vector databases, Azure services, and NoSQL data technologies.
- Require knowledge of enterprise security and authentication patterns including OAuth, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens, SAML, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory, and Okta.
- Require experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI evaluation, groundedness and relevance assessment, observability, responsible AI controls, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365, enterprise knowledge platforms, AI-powered search, and multi-tenant AI applications.
- Preferred familiarity with Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
