Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale metagame systems from technical design through execution.
- Collaborate with Services and Foundations teams for seamless integration of Meta systems.
- Develop clean, extensible C++ systems within Unreal Engine.
- Build and maintain Unreal Editor tooling for designers and content creators.
- Proactively address technical debt and ensure the stability of live services.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing gameplay systems in Unreal Engine using C++.
- Experience building or extending Unreal Editor tooling and workflows.
- Experience implementing in-game UI systems based on UX specifications.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams.
