Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale metagame systems from technical design through execution.
  • Collaborate with Services and Foundations teams for seamless integration of Meta systems.
  • Develop clean, extensible C++ systems within Unreal Engine.
  • Build and maintain Unreal Editor tooling for designers and content creators.
  • Proactively address technical debt and ensure the stability of live services.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing gameplay systems in Unreal Engine using C++.
  • Experience building or extending Unreal Editor tooling and workflows.
  • Experience implementing in-game UI systems based on UX specifications.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams.
