Base Salary
$113k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy web applications using React, Next.js, Java, and/or Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate user and business requirements into technical specifications and full stack solutions.
- Build reusable, scalable components and libraries and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for team requirements and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Deploy code using GitHub Actions and support build automation, continuous integration/deployment, and automated monitoring.
- Promote effective team practices, mentor teammates, and contribute to team culture and continuous improvement.
- Apply agentic AI tooling across software development, CI/CD, and engineering process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable software applications.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-native solutions using AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency with ReactJS and experience with NodeJS/NextJS, Java/Spring, or Python for API development.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration.
- Experience with build automation, continuous integration/deployment, automated monitoring, RESTful API design, and distributed system design.
- Experience with production-grade systems and data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Kafka.
- Experience with a visualization library such as chart.js and with testing frameworks and TDD practices.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in writing and diagrams and collaborate across teams.
- Evolving understanding of AI tooling and ability to apply it to automate tasks, improve workflows, and accelerate delivery.
