Base Salary

$113k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy web applications using React, Next.js, Java, and/or Python.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate user and business requirements into technical specifications and full stack solutions.
  • Build reusable, scalable components and libraries and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for team requirements and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Deploy code using GitHub Actions and support build automation, continuous integration/deployment, and automated monitoring.
  • Promote effective team practices, mentor teammates, and contribute to team culture and continuous improvement.
  • Apply agentic AI tooling across software development, CI/CD, and engineering process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, or relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable software applications.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-native solutions using AWS or GCP.
  • Proficiency with ReactJS and experience with NodeJS/NextJS, Java/Spring, or Python for API development.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development and orchestration.
  • Experience with build automation, continuous integration/deployment, automated monitoring, RESTful API design, and distributed system design.
  • Experience with production-grade systems and data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Kafka.
  • Experience with a visualization library such as chart.js and with testing frameworks and TDD practices.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in writing and diagrams and collaborate across teams.
  • Evolving understanding of AI tooling and ability to apply it to automate tasks, improve workflows, and accelerate delivery.
