Base Salary
$135k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-native systems that design, build, and test aerospace products.
- Develop production software and applications using Java, Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, and GenAI platforms.
- Develop long-lasting REST and GraphQL APIs and applications in production environments.
- Apply software engineering principles, testing practices, and continuous improvement to digital infrastructure and aerospace design and analysis systems.
- Collaborate across the Emerging Technology Team and maintain professional relationships through effective communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience writing production code in at least one programming language.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and ability to translate domain expertise into applications.
- Familiarity with Python, Java, and TypeScript as primary coding languages.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and production applications.
- Experience with version control using GitLab or GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing on Java or React.
- Nuanced understanding of at least one modern database system, such as an RDBMS, columnar DBMS, NoSQL, or IMDB system.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to earn trust.
- Familiarity with Angular or Python, AWS, Azure, other cloud infrastructure, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform is desired.
