Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate Momentum capabilities covering meeting capture, recording, transcript processing, insight generation, and customer-facing experiences.
- Develop reliable backend services, APIs, and event-driven workflows for enterprise-scale, multi-tenant environments.
- Contribute to frontend experiences using JavaScript and component-based frameworks, including Lightning Web Components where applicable.
- Process high-volume conversation, recording, transcript, and insight data securely and efficiently.
- Design for security, privacy, compliance, data residency, observability, and operational readiness.
- Build unit, integration, functional, performance, and end-to-end test coverage using test-driven development practices.
- Use AI development tools and advanced prompt engineering to improve development, testing, debugging, documentation, and production reliability.
- Monitor production behavior, diagnose distributed-system failures, participate in on-call rotation, and improve system supportability.
- Participate in architecture and code reviews and document system context, architecture decisions, operational constraints, coding standards, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Privacy, Site Reliability, and partner engineering teams.
Requirements
- A related technical degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- At least 5 years of backend software development experience is required.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, Scala, Python, Node.js, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web standards and APIs including REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, and JSON.
- Experience with Spring, gRPC, REST, and the HTTP protocol.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Demonstrated AI-first engineering approach and experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor in development workflows.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills, including writing precise structured prompts and developing system context for reliable, secure, production-ready AI outputs.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Preferred experience with conversation intelligence, audio or video recording, transcription, media processing, or meeting-platform integrations.
