Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AI platform capabilities for tool calling, multi-agent architectures, and human-in-the-loop integrations.
- Build secure, RESTful production services using Python and Kubernetes.
- Develop scalable, multi-tenant ML infrastructure and runtime architectures supporting fast inference for millions of users.
- Collaborate with engineers, ML researchers, and cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical designs.
- Apply MLOps practices including automation, observability, and CI/CD.
- Participate in design reviews, code quality initiatives, testing strategies, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development engineering experience designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
- 5+ years of Python experience shipping production code and systems.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable data pipelines and working with large-scale datasets.
- 5+ years of experience deploying production services to AWS, Azure, or GCP and using Docker or Kubernetes for MLOps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expertise in engineering, deployment, and MLOps for advanced machine learning solutions, including generative models, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
- Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems, performance optimization, database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis, and robust API development.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and analyze efficient algorithms and build reusable, documented software components.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing in a continuous deployment environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and knowledge-sharing skills.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $168,000 - $252,000 CAD for the Vancouver primary location and additional Canadian locations, with potential eligibility for a bonus plan and annual refresh stock grants.
- Flexible work arrangement requiring at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field, with remote home-office options and opportunities to gather in Workday offices.
