Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications, system designs, and execution plans.
- Lead the design and development of secure, scalable API contracts with upstream, downstream, and dependent teams.
- Develop, debug, and implement frontend and backend solutions using Angular and Spring Boot microservices.
- Own delivery tracking across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and defect-resolution challenges.
- Apply technical requirements, information modeling, data structures, and algorithms throughout system lifecycles.
- Coordinate with technology and user-experience vendors on implementation plans, roadmaps, and partnership opportunities.
- Establish and improve coding, testing, debugging, implementation, architecture, delivery, and operations standards.
- Participate in agile delivery, execute test plans, manage dependencies, and streamline recurring development and operational processes.
- Assess business risk, support regulatory and policy compliance, and escalate control issues transparently.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and new recruits, lead knowledge-sharing forums, and influence strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a professional product development environment.
- Current hands-on full-stack development experience with Angular and Spring Boot microservices.
- Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, working with microservices architecture, and managing complex integration dependencies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation for improving coding efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience owning delivery from requirements analysis through post-production support.
- Flexibility to work non-IST hours and collaborate across geographies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.
- Extensive experience delivering software using agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience leading infrastructure programs and effecting large cultural changes.
- Excellent written and oral communication, influence, diplomacy, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
