Base Salary

$154k - $217k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop simulation and hardware-emulation platforms for performance measurement and optimization of Meta’s accelerator programs.
  • Support networking and compute hardware acceleration techniques for machine learning training and inference.
  • Implement and analyze simulation models for accelerator ASICs and data center performance scenarios.
  • Perform architectural analysis against performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Integrate simulation results into system design processes with architects and engineers.
  • Use instruction set simulators to define performant firmware for training and inference accelerators.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to accurately model and simulate accelerator functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another relevant technical field is listed as a qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing C++ codebases.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing Python codebases.
  • Understanding of performance measurement, benchmarking, and optimization for collective communications and distributed, at-scale model training and inference.
  • Preferred experience with SystemC, QEMU, and virtual platforms.
  • Preferred experience in hardware accelerators, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, interconnects, and collective communications.
  • Preferred familiarity with NCCL, PyTorch, CUDA, and full-stack AI/HPC systems.

Benefits

  • $154,003 to $217,000 per year in base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
