Base Salary

$109k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead component and solution design, development, documentation, validation, and delivery for Smart Grid applications.
Develop, unit test, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and integrate software components and third-party programs.
Build clean, efficient, scalable, secure, and high-performance software using .NET and cloud-native technologies.
Collaborate with architecture, cloud infrastructure, product, project management, R&D, SME, and business stakeholder teams.
Provide accurate development estimates and participate across the software development life cycle.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards, design principles, code quality, and effective development tools.
Lead functional-area continuous improvement and innovative technology development or validation initiatives.
Participate in recruiting, mentoring, coaching, training, and developing junior engineers.
Create technical documentation, train users, gather feedback, and communicate effectively across teams and audiences.
Lead small project teams, build cross-functional relationships, and support engineering team improvement.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
7–15 years of extensive software development experience.
Expert proficiency with .NET Core, Helm, and C#.
Strong knowledge of SOAP web services, REST APIs, and TCP/IP.
Experience with Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, RKE2, and Kafka messaging.
Experience with database scripting and PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Deep knowledge of AMI and Smart Grid systems and solutions.
Advanced design, development, or validation skills and the ability to work independently on complex R&D projects.
Ability to lead projects, mentor engineers, communicate across diverse and cross-regional teams, and solve complex problems creatively.
Experience with LwM2M, LTE, DLMS, ANSI, or Wi-SUN data exchange standards is a plus.
