Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, design discussions, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide detailed defect information to support resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to testing-process improvement, technology communities, and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with related teams and stakeholders while managing risks, controls, policies, and operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience in the payments domain and knowledge of Global PayPlus (GPP).
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Experience using the Unix/Linux command line.
- Experience with GitLab and JIRA.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery practices.
- Knowledge of Connect Direct, Java, Selenium, MQ, middleware, and integration testing is highly valued.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise, with the ability to analyze problems and advise stakeholders.
