Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise web applications and backend services using Java/J2EE and modern frameworks.
- Build full-stack solutions spanning backend APIs, integration layers, workflow-driven applications, and user-facing UI components.
- Design and implement RESTful services and enterprise system integrations.
- Develop ETL-based data integration solutions using Informatica Cloud, including ingestion, transformation, validation, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
- Contribute to AI-powered and Generative AI-assisted application features and enterprise AI integrations.
- Participate in technical design, architecture reviews, code reviews, sprint planning, and resolution of complex development and production issues.
- Collaborate with business partners, analysts, QA, DevOps, architects, and Staff engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices for quality, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, enterprise application development, and Spring MVC or Spring-based frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js, Express.js or similar backend frameworks, and Angular or similar TypeScript-based frontend frameworks.
- Strong SQL and relational database experience plus working knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience with workflow engines or process automation tools and ETL/data integration platforms, preferably Informatica Cloud (IICS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated quality checks, Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably AWS EKS.
- Preferred experience with Grails, Boomi/Dell Boomi, enterprise integration platforms, middleware, AI/GenAI features, LLMs, and prompt engineering fundamentals.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or qualifying IT experience without a bachelor's degree.
- The posting describes 5–7+ years of progressive software development experience and a minimum qualification of 3+ years of IT-relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years without one.
- At least 3 years of academic or work experience with full-stack application development and at least 1 year with data structures, algorithms, and data stores.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers.
