Responsibilities
- Develop and support Java/J2EE applications and assigned projects using GCP and Spring technologies.
- Perform production support, system maintenance, and technical support activities.
- Work with development teams to understand functional and system requirements.
- Test application functionality and support application functional testing activities.
- Follow organizational IT, security, software development lifecycle, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with business teams, IT teams, and other stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE and GCP experience, including Spring Boot and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Advanced Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JDBC, web services, PostgreSQL, JUnit, Postman, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle and operational frameworks.
- Good experience in application functional testing.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with business, IT, and stakeholder teams.
- Experience with SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Gradle is preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting or invoicing business processes is preferred.
