Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop administrative software connecting system-level software with cluster-level control layers.
- Provide and extend Linux BSP support for reliable, maintainable system platform components.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to gather requirements, define scope, plan milestones, and deliver implementations.
- Diagnose system-level issues, determine root causes, and implement fixes with datacenter operations and debug teams.
- Design and implement software that monitors system hardware and wafer-level behavior with hardware and ASIC teams.
- Improve system reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability across the embedded stack.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team technical planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building production-quality software in C++ or Go.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems fundamentals or system hardware interactions.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
- Preferred: exposure to distributed systems, cluster-level orchestration, or datacenter environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with Linux kernel concepts, device drivers, or BSP layers.
- Preferred: experience debugging hardware/software interactions using logic analyzers, JTAG, or profiling/tracing frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with system monitoring, observability tooling, or hardware-level telemetry pipelines.
- Preferred: experience with server hardware, AI accelerators, datacenters, or server platforms.
