Base Salary

$175k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop administrative software connecting system-level software with cluster-level control layers.
  • Provide and extend Linux BSP support for reliable, maintainable system platform components.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to gather requirements, define scope, plan milestones, and deliver implementations.
  • Diagnose system-level issues, determine root causes, and implement fixes with datacenter operations and debug teams.
  • Design and implement software that monitors system hardware and wafer-level behavior with hardware and ASIC teams.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability across the embedded stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and cross-team technical planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience building production-quality software in C++ or Go.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems fundamentals or system hardware interactions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
  • Preferred: exposure to distributed systems, cluster-level orchestration, or datacenter environments.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Linux kernel concepts, device drivers, or BSP layers.
  • Preferred: experience debugging hardware/software interactions using logic analyzers, JTAG, or profiling/tracing frameworks.
  • Preferred: experience with system monitoring, observability tooling, or hardware-level telemetry pipelines.
  • Preferred: experience with server hardware, AI accelerators, datacenters, or server platforms.
