Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and manage Azure platform services as a subject matter expert.
- Develop and maintain backup and restore, data protection, connectivity, and monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams on data platform services and cloud integrations.
- Make key technical decisions supporting platform stability and scalability.
- Automate and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, usability, and system performance.
- Improve platform accessibility for users with limited technical knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps, Python, Terraform, and Azure Networking.
- Expertise with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using ARM and Bicep.
- Knowledge of data platform architecture and cloud and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
