Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the definition, scoping, design, development, and delivery of features for AWS Global Accelerator.
- Design new systems or improve existing systems and own technical direction from start to finish.
- Drive improvements to the availability and performance of the Global Accelerator control plane, public APIs, provisioning workflows, and AWS service integrations.
- Develop high-quality, testable, and maintainable software and participate in code reviews.
- Mentor and guide team members in solving complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with AWS customers and service owners and propose and document new ideas.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
- Preferred: experience with web services, cloud computing, software licensing, or telecommunications.
