Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs for scalable AI model and system evaluation platforms.
- Build dashboards and evaluation pipelines to assess model performance, latency, and quality across hardware configurations.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML software for client silicon, including telemetry integration and on-device or edge inference optimization.
- Evaluate inference frameworks, optimize model serving, and support compute architectures spanning CPU, GPU, NPU, and other AI silicon.
- Build agentic workflows, tools, and agent skills for AI-powered automation.
- Build containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Automate development, deployment, and telemetry workflows with shell scripting.
- Apply system design and architecture principles to scalable, low-latency server-side systems.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists on model lifecycle, telemetry, and AI/ML model execution.
- Conduct experiments to train, quantize, and optimize ML/DL models for client and edge devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years, master’s degree plus 3 years, or a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, and C++.
- Experience with shell scripting, backend service development, API design, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience developing for Microsoft Windows, including SDKs and embedded device development in RTOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and client ecosystems.
- Experience with AI software development tools, model quantization frameworks, inference optimization libraries, or agentic AI platforms is desirable.
- Familiarity with Intel OpenVINO, Qualcomm QNN, NVIDIA CUDA, AMD Ryzen AI Software, model evaluation frameworks, edge AI benchmarking, or LLM inference serving frameworks is desirable.
- Exposure to agentic AI workflows, tool-use patterns, agent harness development, or hybrid AI orchestration is desirable.
