Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own operational processes from planning and scheduling through execution.
- Coordinate internal Development, QA, Product, and external stakeholder teams.
- Develop and maintain SQL, shell, and Python scripts and tools for automation.
- Automate data checks, environment configurations, operational runbook steps, and reporting.
- Maintain runbooks, playscripts, timeline templates, and other process documentation.
- Monitor operational runs, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Analyze process performance, generate reports, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective improvements.
- Communicate operational updates internally and externally and lead retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical operations, QA, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and data manipulation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or shell for automation and tool development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing complex multi-step processes with numerous dependencies is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools such as Jira or Asana is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk or Grafana is preferred.
- Prior customer-facing or customer-support experience is preferred.
