Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of next-generation CLM platform components.
- Build high-scale identity ingestion and processing pipelines for short-lived credentials and workload identities.
- Drive roadmap delivery across ACME v2, SPIFFE/SPIRE integration, and Kubernetes/service-mesh discovery.
- Collaborate with Product, SRE, Security, VMDR, and TotalCloud teams to deliver resilient production features.
- Mentor engineers on design, performance, distributed systems, and secure coding for PKI and identity systems.
Requirements
- Require 8+ years of hands-on SaaS engineering experience in cloud environments.
- Require strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, with fundamentals in distributed systems and scalable API design.
- Require experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka and JMS, caching systems such as Redis and Memcached, and RDBMS technologies, with Oracle preferred.
- Require familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
- Require a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strongly prefer experience in at least two areas including PKI/CLM, ACME v2 and cert-manager, SPIFFE/SPIRE, cloud-managed identity, service mesh and mTLS, Kubernetes controllers/operators and CRDs, or NHI and AI-agent security.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include post-quantum migration exposure, CNCF/IETF contributions, and Go or Rust experience for collectors, plugins, or sidecars.
