Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client-facing applications, internal tools, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop across frontend interfaces, backend services, asynchronous queues, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Design, and Data teams to streamline workflows and deliver scalable software.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code with emphasis on security, data privacy, and operational reliability.
- Contribute to architecture, testing, observability, and developer experience improvements.
- Depending on experience, shape technical direction, mentor peers, and raise engineering standards.
- Build intelligent product features and improve internal engineering workflows using modern AI tooling.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or comparable practical industry experience building production-grade software.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS.
- Practical experience with Kotlin or Java and operating production backend services, APIs, databases, and serverless functions.
- Understanding of GraphQL, authentication and authorization patterns such as JWT, and service-to-service integrations.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, Git, and production observability and debugging.
- Ability to make pragmatic engineering and product trade-offs while owning work from idea through production.
- Clear, concise communication skills and professional fluency in English.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, queues, asynchronous workflows, Python, regulated or high-security environments, and AI-powered features is preferred but not required.
