Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance scalable software solutions and data platform components.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and analytics workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex data platform issues and implement effective solutions.
- Use scripting and automation to streamline data workflows and integrations.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- At least 5 years of overall experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong knowledge of distributed data processing and analytics in cloud environments.
- Experience with data governance, Alation Data Catalog, and Collibra Data Governance is preferred.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for data workflows and integration is preferred.
