Responsibilities
- Design, provision, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform and env0.
- Review and maintain complex Terraform configurations and module codebases.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID app registrations, permissions, application roles, and deployment identities.
- Develop and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines using OIDC-based authentication.
- Configure Azure networking, platform services, access controls, secrets management, and diagnostic settings.
- Diagnose and resolve Azure infrastructure and application-platform issues using Azure-native tools and command-line interfaces.
- Use Datadog to investigate logs, alerts, and operational issues.
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve incidents during LATAM working hours to maintain operational continuity.
- Translate development requirements into Azure identity, networking, and infrastructure configurations.
- Collaborate with distributed Engineering and DevOps teams and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, including recent hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
- Advanced expertise with Microsoft Azure and Terraform, including troubleshooting large, complex, or poorly documented Terraform module codebases.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including app registrations, application roles, delegated and application permissions, access controls, and OIDC.
- Strong experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with OIDC-based deployment authentication.
- Experience with Azure services including App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Storage, Redis, Service Bus, Event Hubs, API Management, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI Foundry.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking and security, including DNS, VNet integration, Private Endpoints, NSGs, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
- Ability to troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and application-platform issues using native tools and command-line interfaces.
- Experience with Linux environments and Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong operational ownership, incident-management, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience with AKS or Azure App Service containerized workloads, Azure Policies, cloud compliance, cost optimization, Datadog, Azure diagnostic settings, ARM templates, or contract/consulting work is a plus.
- Azure Administrator, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is a plus.
