Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP PP processes for MRP, production orders, routings, work centers, BOMs, capacity planning, scheduling, backflushing, costing, goods movements, and shop-floor reporting.
- Deliver the full SAP PP lifecycle from requirements and design through configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Integrate SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, MES, and shop-floor systems using standard APIs and middleware.
- Use AI copilots and prebuilt AI services for functional specifications, BOM and routing validation, test generation, documentation, exception analysis, troubleshooting, and production insights.
- Ensure production governance, change controls, data accuracy, audit compliance, and reusable delivery standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, warehouse, procurement, cost controlling, integration, SAP engineering, and AI teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong SAP PP expertise in discrete manufacturing, including BOM and routing management, production order cycles, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP.
- Experience integrating SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO, including material availability, inspection lots, demand, costing, confirmations, settlements, and shop-floor data capture.
- Ability to use AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators, and to embed prebuilt AI capabilities into production workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and manufacturing-requirements translation skills.
- SAP PP Certification in S/4HANA Manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with MES, shop-floor integrations, IoT-enabled production data, EWM/WM, PM, APO/IBP, Tricentis, or CBTA is preferred.
