Responsibilities
- Own Tier 2/3 escalations across ad serving, tracking, data pipelines, and ML-driven bidding.
- Perform root-cause analysis on delivery failures, pacing anomalies, and CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS fluctuations.
- Debug OpenRTB integrations, VAST/video, SDKs, MMP postbacks, and conversion tracking, including S2S, CAPI, and SKAdNetwork.
- Use SQL to analyze large-scale bid, impression, and conversion data and isolate anomalies.
- Analyze SupplyChain object, ads.txt, and sellers.json data to improve delivery strategy and identify invalid traffic.
- Build internal tools and playbooks that reduce investigation time and enable team self-service.
- Validate new partner integrations before launch.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science on platform improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, or ad operations, including at least 2 years with ad tech systems such as DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, or MMPs.
- Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, including RTB, auctions, pacing, attribution, and tracking.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language such as Python.
- Experience debugging APIs, logs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools including Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred experience with field-level OpenRTB debugging, large-scale data tools, supply-chain transparency, IVT/MFA, MMPs, VAST/CTV/Open Measurement SDKs, and monitoring tools.
- Additional Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean language skills are preferred.
