Responsibilities
- Deploy onsite with global customers for software integration and development activities, with approximately 50% travel.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using the Shield AI enterprise software development kit.
- Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for customers using Hivemind.
- Assist with pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, conferences, and customer immersions.
- Support post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI enterprise software products.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Debug customer software and API integration issues.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 1+ years of industry experience.
- Strong software engineering background and strong proficiency writing modern C++ code.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred experience includes defense, aviation, or robotics industry experience; customer-facing solutions, applications, or sales engineering experience; startup-like environments; and advanced technical education in robotics or autonomy.
