Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert on one or more DTCC applications.
- Work with Business Systems Analysts to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
- Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
- Tune application performance and reduce issues.
- Research and evaluate technical solutions aligned with DTCC standards.
- Design application components, construct programs, and participate in functional testing.
- Support development teams with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Create applications and unit test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coach others and build collaborative teams across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in software development methodologies, tools, programming languages, application design, development, testing, and support.
- Ability to collaborate with business partners, infrastructure teams, architects, product managers, project managers, and end users.
- Ability to stay current in the relevant specialist area and pursue ongoing learning.
- Strong communication, transparency, collaboration, and coaching skills.
