Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of digital banking products, including ideation, architecture, implementation, release, and maintenance.
- Design and improve scalable system architectures and components integrating across APIs and services.
- Build backend and frontend features for entitlements, access control, approvals, limits, and fraud-prevention services.
- Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and machine learning models.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and serve as a technical resource for the squad.
- Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and optimize delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and UX designers in a pod-based model.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
- Strong Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and Maven experience.
- Experience with microservices and cloud technologies; Netflix OSS experience is a plus.
- Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems.
- Experience with Webpack and Jenkins; Vue.js experience is a plus.
- Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and complex service data flows.
- Ability to work independently on complex features and provide technical leadership.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Fintech or banking experience is highly advantageous.
- Must live in or near Kraków and be willing to work hybrid from the office twice per week.
