Responsibilities
- Design and build core systems for Baton AI’s full-stack web application, API infrastructure, and AI-driven automation platform.
- Develop solutions involving AI agents, prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, APIs, and browser automation.
- Build rich-text editor functionality and workflow automation tools.
- Collaborate with early customers and the founding team to shape the technical roadmap and deliver product features.
- Prototype, experiment, and ship quickly in a high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with modern web application development using React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Understanding of Python and Elixir or functional programming is a plus.
- Experience building rich-text editors or strong interest in taking on that challenge.
- Experience or strong interest in building AI/LLM-powered applications and workflow automation tools.
- Product-minded approach with attention to clean code and user experience.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and deliver quickly.
- Willingness to work in person in San Francisco.
