Base Salary
$135k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help build the global Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team as one of the first US hires.
- Partner with Sales to articulate Dust’s value to technical and business stakeholders.
- Lead technical discovery to identify high-value use cases aligned with customer workflows.
- Deliver tailored, high-impact product demonstrations based on real customer problems.
- Own the technical evaluation process from discovery to hands-on pilots.
- Onboard prospects and guide them in deploying real use cases during pilot phases.
- Build lightweight prototypes or integrations to demonstrate practical applications of Dust.
- Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for Product & Engineering.
- Develop deep expertise in Dust’s product and platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience in roles combining technical depth with customer-facing work.
- Proven success in supporting complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Strong technical aptitude, including familiarity with APIs and software integration.
- Experience building customer-facing demos or prototypes.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience helping customers adopt complex software platforms.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Interest or experience with generative AI and prompt engineering.
- Nice to have: Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly generative AI and LLMs.
- Nice to have: Background in productivity tools or workflow automation.
- Nice to have: Ability to write code (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for demos or prototypes.
