Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end components, backend services, and AWS-deployed infrastructure.
- Solve complex software problems and make appropriate technology, architecture, dependency, and trade-off decisions.
- Build stable, performant, flexible, and maintainable software products and features.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, peers, and other teams to define and deliver projects.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, team planning, and ticket, metric, and COE reviews.
- Improve team software and processes by resolving root causes and delivering software enhancements.
- Train, mentor, and help recruit and interview teammates.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship experience in software development.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
