Responsibilities
- Provide operational support, respond to critical-service alerts, and develop troubleshooting and escalation procedures.
- Maintain and support Threat Hunt platform systems and implement strategic technology solutions.
- Troubleshoot and remediate hardware, software, Linux, network, firewall, and system configuration issues.
- Integrate new solutions, onboard users, manage core platform services, and support internal and external clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams on hardware maintenance and remote remediation.
- Provide scheduled on-call support for a global follow-the-sun support model.
- Automate repetitive tasks and maintain infrastructure, configuration, deployment, and containerized platform tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, security engineering, or a similar transferable role.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
- Applied development experience with Python and Bash scripting.
- Deep understanding of server hardware, Linux operating systems, enterprise networking, firewalls, network switches, and system configuration.
- Experience with Ansible, infrastructure-as-code solutions, operating-system configuration and deployment tooling, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of security concepts and their applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience includes working in a security team, cyber analytics, on-premises and cloud infrastructure, Git, and infrastructure patching across BIOS, firmware, drivers, kernels, operating systems, applications, and databases.
