Responsibilities
- Provide operational support, respond to critical-service alerts, and develop troubleshooting and escalation procedures.
- Maintain, support, plan, and implement strategic solutions for Threat Hunt platform systems.
- Troubleshoot and remediate hardware, software, local network, firewall, switch, and system configuration issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external clients, integrate solutions, onboard users, and manage core platform services.
- Collaborate with internal teams on hardware maintenance and remote remediation.
- Provide scheduled on-call support as part of a global follow-the-sun support model.
- Automate repetitive tasks with Python and Bash and build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in platform, DevOps, security engineering, or a similar transferable role; alternatively, 9+ years of relevant experience without the degree.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, unless qualifying through the stated experience alternative.
- Applied development experience with Python and Bash scripting.
- Deep understanding of server hardware, Linux, preferably Red Hat or CentOS, and enterprise networking.
- Experience with Ansible, infrastructure-as-code solutions, OS configuration, and deployment tooling.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, security concepts, and their applications.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor in a team-oriented, fast-paced Agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Preferred experience includes security-team work, cyber analytics, on-premises and cloud infrastructure, Git, and infrastructure patching and updates across BIOS, firmware, drivers, kernels, operating systems, applications, and databases.
