Base Salary
$230k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and evolve large-scale SID / ASR / NLP / LLM systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of training and inference strategies for large models.
- Design and improve model architectures and training techniques for speech and language models.
- Own end-to-end ML system lifecycles from research to production.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to develop scalable systems.
- Drive system-level improvements in model performance and operational excellence.
- Set technical direction and best practices for ML infrastructure and workflows.
- Identify and resolve complex problems in model behavior and data quality.
- Mentor and elevate other engineers, influencing team standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience; PhD preferred.
- Deep experience building and fine-tuning large language or foundation models.
- Strong command of modern ML research and ability to evaluate new papers.
- Extensive experience deploying and operating ML systems in production.
- Comfortable working with large-scale speech and conversational datasets.
- Effective at cross-functional collaboration with various teams.
- Ability to lead technical projects independently.
- Experience or interest in agentic systems or multi-model orchestration is a plus.
- Experience with personalization or recommendation systems is a plus.
