Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable and resilient backend services in Go.
- Solve data engineering challenges at scale, including querying terabytes of data.
- Collaborate with product teams to evaluate technical designs for economic efficiency.
- Architect and evolve backend systems to handle billions of observability signals.
- Define standards for code quality and testing, mentoring the team.
- Drive best practices for Go services and OpenTelemetry distributions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling distributed backend systems in Go.
- Familiarity with high-performance data stores like ClickHouse or messaging systems like Kafka.
- A product mindset focused on end-user experience and business impact.
- Strong understanding of observability principles, including OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
- Experience designing for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- A collaborative approach to engineering, mentoring others and sharing knowledge.
