Responsibilities
- Implement Salesforce features end-to-end, including technical design, coding, unit testing, documentation, and delivery.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components according to product specifications.
- Build and extend declarative Salesforce solutions using Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Permission Sets.
- Create automated unit, business, and regression tests and maintain strong test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, technical debt reduction, and CI/CD pipeline and deployment automation.
- Provide Level 3 production support by analyzing incidents, resolving bugs, performing corrective maintenance, and supporting minor changes through delivery.
- Execute approved Salesforce data retrieval requests and maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and PI Planning.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, System Architects, QA, and global product teams to deliver features on schedule and to quality standards.
- Use JIRA for development tasks and time tracking and ServiceNow for incidents and service requests.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of confirmed hands-on Salesforce platform development experience.
- Proficiency in Apex, including triggers, classes, and asynchronous Apex, plus Lightning Web Components.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Permission Sets, SOQL, and SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, VS Code Salesforce Extensions, Git-based workflows, and Salesforce deployment tooling such as Copado or Gearset.
- Knowledge of unit testing, meaningful assertions, CI/CD concepts, Salesforce integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and Platform Events.
- Experience with code reviews, pair programming, technical documentation, Agile/SAFe ceremonies, backlog management, and effort estimation.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to work with nearshore/offshore teams.
- Mandatory Salesforce Platform Developer I, JavaScript Developer I, and Platform App Builder certifications.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Marketing Cloud, AMPscript, Journey Builder, MuleSoft, middleware, luxury/retail CRM, Salesforce AI features, or French language proficiency are preferred.
