Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable inventory genealogy solutions.
- Lead the architecture and development of high-volume data storage infrastructure.
- Build and optimize a knowledge graph tracking inventory throughout Amazon’s fulfillment network.
- Develop high-performance APIs and analytics tools for defect identification and root-cause analysis.
- Design infrastructure capable of storing terabytes of data and events per day.
- Collaborate with engineers to influence strategy and define the team roadmap.
- Drive system architecture and software quality best practices.
- Coach and develop junior engineers while contributing to testing, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience with big data analytics, infrastructure, cloud computing, database management, and GenAI is sought for the role.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
