Responsibilities

  • Execute CI/CD pipelines for safe, repeatable delivery of platform services, configurations, and automation at scale.
  • Use web interfaces, APIs, and event-driven workflows to support self-service platform operations.
  • Deploy and operate Azure services and use cloud tools to ensure consistent deployments.
  • Embed logging, metrics, pre-checks, and post-checks into automation to improve observability and reliability.
  • Develop and use reusable tools, command-line interfaces, Azure Workbooks, and pipelines to monitor and troubleshoot platform instances and internal validation labs.
  • Support operations teams when issues arise and collaborate with platform engineering, security, and operations teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing cloud platforms through pipeline automation.
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, and AI related to automation and tooling.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating services in Azure or comparable cloud environments.
  • Experience operating large-scale platforms, including initial deployments and ongoing upgrades.
  • Strong ability to use secure APIs for operational workflows.
  • Operational experience with RBAC, policy enforcement, and Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
  • Fundamental networking experience supporting integration of network fabric with compute infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and automation integration with platform services.
  • Preferred experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps or similar YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
  • Preferred experience with observability and monitoring tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, dashboards, logging, metrics, and health checks.
  • Preferred experience developing or integrating self-service web UIs, APIs, and event-driven workflows.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across platform engineering, security, and operations teams.
