Responsibilities
- Support and optimize existing server operations and endpoint engineering activities.
- Design and implement PaaS and serverless solutions to modernize the platform.
- Develop self-service portals and automation frameworks for developer teams.
- Collaborate with teams to evolve processes and adopt platform engineering practices.
- Guide the transition toward a platform-first mindset and advocate for modernization.
- Provide technical direction without formal management authority.
- Support infrastructure, release engineering, endpoint stability, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
- Hands-on experience with server operations and endpoint management, including Intune.
- Deep experience with IaaS using Azure and at least one major PaaS or serverless platform.
- Strong automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Experience shipping self-service tooling adopted by other developers.
- Strong experience in server operations, endpoint engineering, IaaS, and release engineering.
- Experience with internal developer portals and platform product thinking.
- Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost optimization at scale.
- Ability to lead by example and guide teams without formal management authority.
