Responsibilities
- Align engineering roadmap with business outcomes and communicate trade-offs in plain language.
- Design and evolve core platforms for APIs, data, and AI that are scalable and secure.
- Embed AI as a first-class concern in the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and customer-facing teams to drive impact.
- Mentor peers through reviews and hands-on pairing.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of experience in backend/platform engineering with ownership of production-grade services.
- Strong skills in system design and distributed systems, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Postgres/MySQL and NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Excellent communication skills for documentation and influencing across teams.
