Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software for Arista’s EOS network operating system and programmable data-center infrastructure.
- Work with state-oriented, multi-process software architecture using publish-subscribe communication and centralized system databases.
- Design and implement distributed systems components supporting modularity, resiliency, and software stability.
- Contribute to open standards-based networking software running across physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers.
- Support network testing, reliability, and automation workflows across Arista switches and routers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of fluency in C or C++.
- Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive background in algorithms.
- Strong software architecture skills.
- Hands-on design and implementation experience in a strong product-engineering environment.
