Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable, resilient enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Security, JavaScript, and AWS.
- Define technical standards, reusable design patterns, and reference implementations across engineering teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews, security assessments, performance optimization, and code quality initiatives.
- Mentor developers and engineering teams and promote software development, Git collaboration, CI/CD, testing, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
- Drive cloud modernization, application modernization, technical governance, and best-practice adoption.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Core Java.
- Strong expertise in Spring Security, including authentication, authorization, identity provider integration, and role-based access control.
- Experience architecting and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, including security, networking, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, branching strategies, and collaborative software development.
- Experience developing modern applications with JavaScript and integrating front-end applications with enterprise APIs and services.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineering teams, and influencing technical decisions across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools, enterprise architecture standards, technical governance, observability, logging, monitoring, incident response, production support, cloud modernization, digital transformation, application modernization, and AWS or other cloud certifications.
