Base Salary
$165k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve services for the events management platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs while ensuring SLAs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.
- Influence architecture and articulate technical decisions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer.
- Extensive experience with distributed systems and web infrastructure.
- Expertise in developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in at least one statically typed language.
- Experience with Golang, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Java.
- Deep understanding of relational databases like Postgres.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software testing frameworks.
